It’s not a direct heat pit with a heat deflector! True… but sometimes you just need a more controlled burn on longer cooks. The evenly spaced slots allow for a good amount of heat to still come through keeping the fire burning clean. This deflector is one solid piece and has a center bend to prevent the plate from buckling under normal fire temperatures. Available for the Slinger, 3FT and 4FT Trolley.
